Guggenberger gets comeback win in Gwinnett debut

Didn't look good early for former Alaska Aces goaltender Mark Guggenberger in his debut for ECHL Gwinnett tonight against Florida.

The Gladiators, who got Guggenberger's rights in a deal with the Aces today, fell behind 2-0 inside the opening 11 minutes. And they trailed 2-0 through two periods, and were being outshot 22-5. Yikes.

But Gwinnett outshot Florida 12-6 in the third, scoring three goals in the first half of the final period and added an empty-netter for a 4-2 win. Guggenberger stopped 26 of 28 shots.
