Here's how the Aces stack up historically at the three-quarters pole

The Alaska Aces' 2-1 road win over Utah tonight came in their 54th game of the regular season, which marks the three-quarter pole in what is usually a 72-game journey to the ECHL playoffs -- Alaska will play 71 games this regular season because of adjustments after San Francisco folded.

In any event, the Aces lead the ECHL in both points (74) and winning percentage (.685) -- the Brabham Cup that goes to the regular season champ will be determined by winning percentage. Ontario looms close, with 73 points in 54 games. Orlando owns 69 points in just 52 games and South Carolina 71 points in 54 games.

Anyhow, the Aces are 35-15-4. Here's how that stacks up to this point in their 11 ECHL seasons:

2013-14 – 35-15-4, 74 points

2012-13 – 37-11-6, 80 points

2011-12 – 33-15-6, 72 points

2010-11 – 32-19-3, 67 points

2009-10 – 26-23-5, 57 points

2008-09 – 31-22-3, 64 points

2007-08 – 30-20-4, 64 points

2006-07 – 37-14-3, 77 points

2005-06 – 42-8-4, 88 points

2004-05 – 33-15-6, 72 points

2003-04 – 30-20-4, 64 points
