According to College Hockey Inc. and the British Columbia Hockey League, UAF has received a commitment from a high-scoring forward, who will join the Nanooks in 2015.

Headed north is Chad Staley, a 5-foot-9, 175-pounder from Kennewick, Wash., who plays for the Prince George Spruce Kings.

Staley, 19, owns 29-32--61 totals in 57 games, which ranks him tied for seventh on the circuit in goals and tied for 10th in points. He's also tied for first in game-winning goals (8) and tied for ninth in power-play goals (8).

He's much improved stat-wise this season. Last season for Prince George, Staley put up 9-18--27 totals in 56 games.
