It's the postseason for some Alaska women in D-1 hockey

Some Alaska women already are playing in the postseason in Division I, including Zoe Hickel of Anchorage, who Sunday furnished Minnesota-Duluth with two goals and a helper in a 5-1 WCHA playoff win over Ohio State that advanced the Bulldogs to the league semifinals.

Hickel owns 13-14--27 totals in 35 games to rank third in goals and points on her club. The team also includes Bailey Wright of Anchorage, who has 3-2--5 totals in 29 games. Minnesota-Duluth next takes on Minnesota.

Also in the WCHA semis is Wisconsin, which includes Kaitlyn Harding of Anchorage. She's 4-4--8 in 35 games. The Badgers next face North Dakota.

Out East, Tori Hickel, Zoe's sister, is headed to the Hockey East semifinals with Northeastern, which next faces Boston University. Tori Hickel owns 2-8--10 totals in 32 games.

Also, Robert Morris is in the College Hockey America semis against RIT. Robert Morris includes Leah Carlson of Copper Center, who has played in nine games.
