Two men were stabbed in a fight outside a Mountain View home early Tuesday morning, Anchorage police said.

Police were called at 1:54 a.m. about a fight at a home in the 700 block of North Bragaw Street. When police responded, they were told that two men had been stabbed and fled on foot, Anchorage police spokeswoman Jennifer Castro said in an email.

Police were told a man had been working on his car outside his home when two other men approached him on foot, Castro said.

"Words were exchanged," and one of the men attacked the man working on his car, Castro said.

A scuffle broke out and the second man joined in, Castro said, at which point the resident stabbed the two men. Both fled on foot, Castro said, and police eventually found them in separate places a few blocks away.

The incident is under investigation, Castro said, and no charges or arrests have been made at this point.
