UAA's lines for tonight's critical road showdown with UAF

Doyle Woody,Adn Staff

Nothing much in the way of surprises from UAA coach Matt Thomas as far as his lineup goes tonight in a pivotal WCHA road game against UAF -- the match doubles as Game 3 of the Governor's Cup, which is currently tied 1-1.

Thomas is going with 12 forwards and six defensemen -- we mention that because 15 times this season, roughly half the games, he's gone with 11 and 7. Sophomore defenseman Ben Matthews is in the lineup after being a scratch the last seven games and senior Chris Kamal gets the start.

Oh, just noticed another change: Freshman Dylan Hubbs, usually the third-line right winger, is centering the fourth line and winger-defenseman Blake Leask is at right wing on the third line.

Here are the lines and pairings:

Allen-Bailey-Cameron

Kwas-Tatchell-Duwe

Pettitt-Rassell-Leask

Trupp-Hubbs-Friesen

Van Allen-Docken

Coldwell-Matthews

Sevalrud-Sproule

Kamal

Gunderson
