Cornelia Marie will be back for 10th season of 'Deadliest Catch'

Fans of the Discovery Channel show "Deadliest Catch" will notice a familiar boat when the show opens its 10th season on April 22.

The Cornelia Marie -- once owned and operated by popular Captain Phil Harris, who died in 2010 -- is returning to the show after a years-long absence.

Harris's sons, Josh and Jake, purchased the boat last year, but fans of the family and the Cornelia Marie were disappointed after Josh Harris announced in September 2013 that the family was unable to come to terms with show executives to keep the Cornelia Marie on the air for the upcoming season.

Apparently the two sides were able to work out an agreement, and Discovery announced on Wednesday that the Cornelia Marie would be back -- with the late Harris's son Josh as captain.

The ship will not be featured in the first few episodes, which cover the Bering Sea king crab fishery, but will be featured in the second half of the season during the opilio crab fishery.

Deadliest Catch is one of the Discovery Network's biggest hits, airing in more than 150 countries.
