Bettisworth North named Mark Kimerer, ASLA, PLA its newest partner and principal landscape architect. Kimerer leads the firm's landscape architecture department of three and will oversee human resources and professional development for the firm. Kimerer's project experience ranges from large-scale site planning to accessible playground design, low-impact development, civic park facility improvements and native plant revegetation techniques. He brings 21 years of experience in landscape architecture and 15 years as a licensed landscape architect. He began practicing in Alaska in 2004 at Land Design North, joining Bettisworth North in 2010. He completed two terms on the Municipality of Anchorage Urban Design Commission and serves as past president of the Alaska Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
