The difference between Florida and Alaska: In Florida, a woman is being attacked by a man; she pulls a gun and fires a warning shot; she's arrested and given 20 years; on retrial, she's facing 60 years, this in a state where a man shoots an unarmed man, and gets off scot-free. In Alaska, a woman is attacked by a man with a knife; a neighbor fires a warning shot and stops the attack, and calls police; and he is commended. Glad I live in a state where crazy isn't the norm.
