The ECHL's Alaska Aces received reinforcements today from their AHL affiliate, the Abbotsford Heat.

Abbotsford returned winger Evan Trupp of Anchorage to the Aces, and presumably he'll join them in Las Vegas, where they open a road trip Thursday night. Trupp in 41 games with the Aces produced 11-24--35 and +8 totals, so he will be a boost.

Abbotsford also assigned rookie defenseman John Ramage to the Aces. Expect him to make his ECHL debut in Las Vegas. Ramage, a former Wisconsin blueliner, had two assists and a +2 rating with the Heat. He's a fourth-round draft pick of the Calgary Flames, the NHL affiliate for the Heat and Aces.
