Alaska USA Federal Credit Union is asking its debit and ATM cardholders to double-check their account balances after a Tuesday processing error duplicated some transactions, management said.
It was unclear Wednesday how many customers were affected and what caused the malfunction, said Dan McCue, senior vice president of corporate administration.
He said a team of credit union employees is working to identify and fix all impacted accounts, encouraging anyone with questions to call 1-800-525-9094.
Alaska USA has more than 500,000 members, with branches in Alaska, California and Washington.
