Aces find their back-up goalie in Aaron Crandall

In need of a second goaltender since the Buffalo Sabres sent Connor Knapp to the AHL this week, the Alaska Aces have signed former Minnesota-Duluth tender Aaron Crandall, who just wrapped his college career.

Crandall this season went 14-12-3 with a 2.76 goals-against average and .900 save percentage, plus one shutout.

He'll be with the Aces for tonight's road series opener at Las Vegas. Expect Gerald Coleman to get the start in net.
