Glencross bags hat trick as Calgary abuses Edmonton

Former UAA skater Curtis Glencross, in just his sixth game back for the Calgary Flames, racked a hat trick tonight as the Battle of Alberta turned into a laugher -- the Flames scored the last eight goals of the game at Edmonton to earn an 8-1 win.

Off the top of The Blog's head -- and with an assist from his friend Linda in Calgary -- that's Glencross' third career hat trick. He has 119 NHL goals in 425 career games.

Since his return, Glencross is 4-2--6 in six games. Tonight, he made the most of modest ice time, getting his hattie in just 12:33 of ice while getting off five shots and finishing +3.
