Checking in on UAA's recruits

With UAA's season done, time to check in on the Seawolves' recruits and see how they're doing.

Almost all of them are done in their respective seasons, with the exception of forward Jake Larson of the AJHL's Brooks Bandits, who remain alive; defenseman Wyatt Ege of the NAHL's Fairbanks Ice Dogs, who have wrapped the regular-season crown with two games left; and forward Alex Jackstadt of Anchorage and USHL's Fargo Force, who sit last in that league with four regular-season games left.

Here are the numbers (note, some of these guys won't be in Anchorage until 2015):

--Goaltender Olivier Mantha, BCHL Penticton: 17-9-0, 2.27 and .912 in regular season, with two shutouts; 3-3-0, 2.33, .910 and two shutouts in playoffs.

--Defenseman Jarrett Brown, BCHL Cowichan Valley: 6-15--21 in 47 regular-season games, team did not qualify for playoffs.

--Forward Austin Azurdia, BCHL Langley: 16-26--42 in 51 regular-season games; 4-6--10 in 12 playoff games.

-- Forward Tad Kozun, SJHL Nipawin: 38-27--65 in 56 regular-season games to lead the circuit in goals and land third in points; 1-0--1 in four playoff games.

--Defenseman Christian Weidauer, BCHL Prince George: 13-35--48 in 58 regular-season games to finish second among blueliners in points; 0-1--1 in six playoff games.

--Forward Anthony Conti, BCHL Surrey: 16-27--43 in 55 regular-season games; 2-5--7 in six playoff games.

--Forward Cam Amantea, BCHL Penticton: 10-7--17 in 38 regular-season games; 1-2--3 in six playoff games.

--Forward Jake Larson, AJHL Brooks: 11-24--35 in 60 regular-season games; 0-3--3 in four playoff games.

--Forward Matt Anholt, BCHL West Kelowna: 17-31--48 in 57 regular-season games; 2-2--4 in six playoff games.

--Forward Alex Jackstadt, USHL Fargo: 4-9--13 in 55 regular-season games, four regular-season games remaining.

--Defenseman Wyatt Ege, NAHL Fairbanks: 3-17--20 in 57 regular-season games, two regular-season games remaining.
