Miami Herald columnist Leonard Pitts is justifiably outraged about the following statistic:
Black toddlers represent 18 percent of preschool attendees, but between 42 and 50 percent of preschool "suspendees." It's indeed disgusting and discouraging to realize there are enough white people so blinded by internalized hatred that they direct their vile hostility at 2- to 4-year-old children frequently enough that it can be demonstrated statistically.
That's right, white folks! Stand your ground! Start in on 'em early until they get big enough to shoot!
The closet white supremacists can now scream how I'm a "racist" for even mentioning this. I struggled to teach my kids to love and value themselves despite the hostility and stupidity they encountered almost daily for no other reason than their dermal melanin content. My kids now have to teach the same lesson to their children.
"B-b-but, racism went away back in the '60s! We live in a 'post-racial' society now!"
As my 14-year-old granddaughter would say, "Yeah, right."
