Didn't take former UAA center Matt Bailey too long to get going at the pro level -- tonight, he scored his first pro goal, in his third game, with a game-tying, power-play strike in the third period of the Norfolk Admirals' 2-1 shootout win over Adirondack.
Bailey last week signed a two-year deal with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks that kicks in next season. In his recent senior year at UAA, he lead the Seawolves in goals and points with 20-18--38 totals in 38 games.
He's playing the rest of the season for Norfolk, Anaheim's farm team, on an amateur tryout agreement.
