Taylor Zietlow netted a hat trick to lead visiting South past non-conference Palmer 6-0 on Saturday.
Lucas Newman stopped every shot he faced, including a penalty kick, to earn the shutout for South.
Colony 3, Chugiak 0
Ben Sande recorded his second straight hat trick to lift host Colony past Chugiak 3-0 in non-conference action Saturday.
Sande finished the weekend with six goals. On Friday, he provided all of the scoring for Colony in a 3-0 non-conference win over visiting East.
