Students deserve education about where their food comes from. The Farm to School budget item will empower youths to make healthier decisions in their lives through food. As a student I want local food in my school and think it would be great to have a school garden. The FTS budget will provide these to students (K-12) in Alaska.
The budget item is in this Legislature this session. I am asking my local legislators to vote for this budget item to ensure the well-being of the future generations.
