Alaska State Troopers are investigating complaints in the Northeast Alaska village of Venetie that someone was filming community members in the public showers.
The Fairbanks Rural Unit and two village public safety officers received the complaints twice in the past month -- first on March 17 and again on Monday, troopers wrote in an online dispatch posted Tuesday.
Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters said a suspect had been identified, and troopers are investigating the incident. Peters declined to release additional details.
A representative of the village tribal council was not immediately available for comment.
About 200 people live in Venetie, on the Chandalar River about 45 miles northwest of Fort Yukon.
