Nobody should have to choose between their health and their job. We've successfully eliminated the problem in the bar and restaurant business in Anchorage and there's no reason why it shouldn't be eliminated elsewhere.
It is incumbent upon us, one and all, to do what we can to forestall the insidious, senseless scourge of secondhand smoke from among our ranks, and I for one, have been around long enough to see common sense through the fog of purported individual rights.
Every clear-thinking, caring Alaskan should support these sensible measures.
