Letter: Legislature’s focus is all wrong

When I moved here years ago, people around me would say, “It’s time to get scared, the Legislature is in session.” I didn’t understand at the time, but after watching some of them in action on “Gavel Alaska,” I get it.

In my view, any legislators who would gut the school system yet allow such insane expenditures as the Legislative Information Office rental deal, to include glass elevators and special wood, and huge unfeasible projects such as the hydroelectric dam and KABATA instead, are sorry characters.
