Here's a mini-roundup of some great air fares. Some are available for just a few days in May -- but it's worth it to stop and check your calendar.

• Travel May 16-21 between Anchorage and Long Beach, Calif., for as little as $216 round-trip (nonstop) on JetBlue.
• Travel May 17-20 between Anchorage and Seattle for as little as $196 round-trip (nonstop) on JetBlue.
• Travel June 3-13 between Fairbanks and Denver for as little as $288 round-trip (nonstop) on Frontier Airlines.
• Travel starting June 8 between Fairbanks and Portland, Ore., for as little as $398 round-trip (nonstop) on Alaska Airlines.
• Travel May 30-June 6 between Juneau and New York/JFK for as little as $410 round-trip (via Seattle) on Delta.
• Travel starting May 30 between Juneau and San Francisco, Los Angeles/LAX or San Diego for as little as $390 round-trip on Delta (via Seattle).
Remember: Fares are subject to change. Chances are pretty good they will, indeed, change over the weekend.
