A rollover crash briefly closed down a lane on Providence Drive in Anchorage Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident, at about 4:30 p.m., was described by Anchorage police spokeswoman Dani Myren as a single-rollover accident with "some injuries." She did not know the extent of the injuries or the number of people involved.
A call to police at 4:34 p.m. reported the crash in an area of Providence Drive near Spirit Drive, Myren said. Authorities closed down the westbound lane of Providence Drive shortly after.
About an hour later, at 5:35 p.m., police tweeted that the lane was re-opened.
Myren said police are investigating the cause of the crash.
