Ekwok woman charged with hitting man with baking dish

An Ekwok woman was arrested for assault Friday after allegedly breaking a glass baking dish over a man's head, the Alaska State Troopers said in an online dispatch.

Troopers got a call on Friday evening about a disturbance in the Southwest Alaska village of Ekwok, the dispatch said.

"The Village Public Safety Officer responded and investigation revealed an adult female identified as Loridee Wilson 30, of Ekwok had assaulted a male by breaking a glass baking dish on his head," according to the dispatch.

Wilson was arrested on domestic violence assault charges and taken to the Dillingham Correctional Facility.
