Jack Sedor and Cole Fox scored two goals apiece to lead visiting Dimond past East 8-0 in boys Cook Inlet Conference soccer action Wednesday.
The Lynx struck early with Dylan Nolder scoring off a corner kick 36 seconds into the match. Jeff Spraker added a goal 20 minutes later to give Dimond a 2-0 lead at the half.
Dimond erupted for six second-half goals to put the match out of reach. Along with goals by Sedor and Fox, Matt Cerveny and Micah Rickard also scored for Dimond.
Chugiak 1, Eagle River 1
Eagle River's Jacob Whitehead scored the equalizer with about 10 minutes left in a 1-1 draw against host Chugiak on Tuesday in a boys CIC soccer match.
