With Rob Gunderson and Chris Kamal finished with their eligibility, UAA was in need of goaltenders, and it looks like they've rounded up their crew with the addition of a recruit.

The Alberta Junior Hockey League has announced that Jared D'Amico of the Okotoks Oilers will join the Seawolves in the fall. The Seawolves return red-shirt sophomore Michael Matyas and had already received a commitment from Olivier Mantha of the British Columbia Hockey League's Penticton Vees, who will join UAA in the fall.

D'Amico, 20, is a small goalie -- 5-9, 155 -- who played three seasons for Okotoks, going 60-30-8 with a 2.41 goals-against average, .912 save percentage and seven shutouts. This past season he was 28-15-4, 2.47 and .911 with three shutouts.

Matyas last season was 2-2-1 with a 3.29 and .877. Mantha went 17-9-0 with a 2.27 and .912.

Imagine there will be quite the competition to become the No. 1 goalie for the Seawolves next season.
