Finding high caliber, reasonably priced wine is the name of the game. One that Michel Chapoutier plays very, very well. The 2012 Les Vignes de Bila-Haut Cotes du Roussillon Villages is exactly what I am talking about. It's rich and flamboyant on the pallet with cherry and sappy flesh. A dash of tannin, herb and mineral complete the scene. This is the entry level wine for this project and it waaaaay over delivers. Oh, yes, grill some meats by all means and enjoy! Costs about $17.
