Letter: Give the public the facts

There is much public debate re: education funding but few facts reported. I would appreciate some investigative journalism to give readers facts on the following:

1. What is the evidence that Alaska parents want more choices? How do their choices now compare with other states', districts'?

2. Republicans want to reform education before locking in a revised BSA? What reforms?

3. Given our cost of living and that overall costs are skewed by small, rural schools, how do our overall costs compare? How do teachers' salaries compare? What about admin costs?

Education funding likely will be a major issue in the fall election. Voters need facts among all the rhetoric
