Can't remember the last time UAF got a commitment from a Minnesota high school kid -- ever? -- but the Nanooks have evidently received one from Tyler Cline, a center from Blaine.
That's according to College Hockey Inc., and not that The Blog looks around, according to Cline, who announced it Tuesday via Twitter.
In any event, the 18-year-old committed for the 2015-16 season. That means he'll play junior next season -- he played a couple games for the NAHL's Minnesota Wilderness this season.
In 25 high school games for Blaine this past season, he earned 26-16--42 totals.
