Monica Kane, assistant provost at University of Alaska Anchorage, has joined the board of directors at Best Beginnings. Kane has been at UAA since 1996. Best Beginnings is a nonprofit advocate for early learning in Alaska. It is the statewide umbrella for Imagination Library, promotes and supports local early childhood partnerships, and produces and distributes materials and information about early learning.
