No surprise here, but a noteworthy achievement for Kenai River Brown Bears forward Alec Butcher of Anchorage, who today was voted All-NAHL by the league's coaches.
Butcher, who is headed to Sacred Heart in the fall, led the circuit in scoring with 24-42--66 totals in 60 games, and he racked a +20 rating.
He also made the All-Midwest Division Team, as did forward Tayler Munson and defenseman Nick Hinz of the Fairbanks Ice Dogs.
Munson, who his ticketed for his hometown team, UAF, was sixth in the league in scoring with 24-34--58 totals in 56 games, and his +36 tied for second in the league. Hinz led the lead at +40 and went 3-19--22 in 59 games.
Munson, Hinz and the rest of the Ice Dogs entertain the Austin Bruins this weekend for the Robertson Cup.
