Eagle River 16, Chugiak 7
Four Eagle River players had multi-hit games to help the Wolves to a 16-7 Cook Inlet Conference win over Chugiak on Saturday at Mulcahy Stadium.
Collin Metzel and Trent Talley had three hits apiece for Eagle River. Metzel ripped two doubles and drove in five runs while Talley had a double and two RBIs.
Michael Rosenberg and Cory Lestochi both went 2 for 3 for the Wolves, who got a home run from R.J. Dirscherl.
Reliever Guido Gerali earned the win after giving up two hits in four innings.
Brandon Neal went 2 for 4 for Chugiak.
West 13, Dimond 6
Dalton Chapman pitched a complete seven-inning game, striking out 11 and went 4 for 5 with three RBIs to lead West past Dimond 13-6 on Saturday.
Jose Ovalles went 3 for 4 with two RBIs for the Eagles.
