Clint Van Noy of Wasilla didn't have the fastest car but he had the fastest reaction time, and that let the Wasilla drag racer claim victory in Sunday's Hunison Cup at Alaska Raceway Park.
Anchorage's John Postishek, driving a red Camaro, registered 134.87 mph in the ET bracket final against Van Noy, driving a red Willys coupe. But Van Noy prevailed with a .0155 reaction time.
The Hunison Cup, held in memory of former champion racers Bill and Jay Hunison, helped kick off the season at Alaska Raceway Park.
