An Evening with Lidia

Chef Lidia from "Lidia's Italy" on PBS and The Create Channel is coming to dinner. This benefit for Alaska Public Media includes a six-course dinner with a selection of wines. Fire Station 3 at 1100 Airport Heights Drive invites the public to stop by from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Michelle Theall presents 'Teaching the Cat to Sit: A Memoir'

Michelle Theall wrote a book about her experiences growing up gay and Catholic in the Texas Bible Belt. In "Teaching the Cat to Sit: A Memoir," she tells how she came to terms with the roles of religion, motherhood and family in living a full, loving life.
