UMIAQ Science Brochure Wins 2014 Hermes Gold Award - “Honoring the Messengers and Creator of Traditional and Emerging Media”
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for the concept, writing and design of traditional materials, programs and emerging technologies. The Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals (AMCP) competition has grown to one of the largest of its kind in the world. A look at the winners shows a range in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
The UMIAQ Science brochure, designed by Cindy Shake, UMIAQ’s Marketing and Communications Manager recently received a 2014 Hermes Gold Award and was “judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm” in the Publications – Brochures category. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were approximately 5,500 entries from throughout the United States and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2014 competition.
