UAA set a program record Tuesday when 16 members of its track and field team were named to the Great Northwest Athletic Conference all-academic team.
Haleigh Lloyd, who has a 3.67 GPA, earned the honor for a third straight year.
Second-time selections included Christi Schmitz, Bryn Haebe, Austen DeWolf, Travis Wilson, Elliott Bauer, Isaac Kangogo and Kevin Rooke.
Dylan Anthony, Franz Burghagen, Victor Samoei, Karolin Anders, Susan Bick, Sasha Halfyard, Gaynor Johansen and Jessica Pahkala were first-time selections for UAA.
Western Washington had the most athletes on the academic team with 26 followed by Northwest Nazarene (21) and Central Washington (17).
