Chugiak's baseball team started the Cook Inlet Conference consolation playoffs with two blowouts, defeating Bartlett 13-3 on Tuesday and cruising past East 15-1 on Monday.
On Tuesday, Chugiak's Sam Hanson was the lone player with two hits. The Mustangs also got a triple and two RBIs from Zachary Bohrer and a triple from Jake Kindred. Brandon Neal and Charlie Bucolo provided doubles for Chugiak.
Neal and Cody Curfman combined to hold Bartlett to three hits.
Alec Dudley drove in a pair of runs for Bartlett.
On Monday, Blake Kutch pitched a one-hitter through five innings for the Mustangs.
Vander LeKites went 4 for 4 and scored three runs for the Chugiak, which got three RBIs from John Ives and two RBIs apiece from Sam Hanson, Hunter Hanson and Bucolo.
Gaten Davis had East's lone hit.
