Some Alaska connections' plans for next season

Doyle Woody,Adn Staff

Former UAA forward Daniel Naslund of Sweden is one of several Alaska connections who will be on the move next season or have re-upped with their current clubs.

Naslund, who last season played for Villard-de-Lans in France, is headed to the EIHL's Edinburgh Capitals -- that club has of late featured former Seawolves Curtis Leinweber and Jade Portwood. Naslund this past season owned 6-7--13 totals in 21 regular-season games and 3-4--7 totals in eight playoff games.

Also on the move is former (briefly) Alaska Aces defenseman Ryan Glenn, who will move from SaiPa in Finland to Karpet in the same league. Former Aces goaltendere Kevin Regan, meanwhile, has re-upped with the EIHL's Fife Flyers, and former Aces winger Eric Neilson, the AHL's Man of the Year for his off-ice charitable work and community endeavors, has re-upped with Syracuse.
