Alaska Credit Union League donated the"Biz Kid$" financial education box set to the Children's Hospital at Providence. The donation is part of an ongoing relationship between local credit unions and Children's Miracle Network hospitals, linking credit unions' philanthropy with their mission to improve people's financial lives.

"Biz Kid$" is the Emmy Award-winning and credit union-funded public television series that teaches kids about money management and entrepreneurship. "Biz Kid$" is a part of KUAC TV 9 programming in Fairbanks.

The Alaska Credit Union League is composed of 12 credit unions throughout the state.

More than 120 Weidner Apartment Homes employees will travel to Camp Togowoods, a Girl Scouts of Alaska-owned camp property in Wasilla, to rebuild tent platforms, clean camp buildings, rake gardens and grounds, and perform general repairs to buildings and utilities to ready the camp for the 2014 Girl Scout summer camp season. Camp Togowoods is located on 300 acres along the shores of Three Mile Lake in Wasilla.
