Prep baseball: Results from Tuesday, Monday

Dimond 15, Bartlett 2

Mahlon Cleveland allowed two hits in a seven-inning, complete-game effort that led Dimond past Bartlett 15-2 Tuesday in the first baseball game on Bartlett's new diamond.

Cleveland, who walked two, was supported by an 11-hit attack that included three hits from Preston Micheletto and two apiece from Peyton Lauwers and Chris Gardeline.

Micheletto scored four times, drove in two runs and stole one base. Lauwers drove in a pair of runs and scored once, Gardeline scoreed twice, stole two bsaes and drove in one run, and Cleveland helped himself with a run and a hit.

Zach Schmidt sparked Bartlett with one hit, one run and one stolen base.

Chugiak 7, Eagle River 4

Cody Curfman's three-run double in the first night helped power Chugiak to a 7-4 American Legion baseball victory over Eagle River in a Monday game at Chugiak's Oberg Field.

The Mustangs led 5-0 after one inning, but Eagle River stormed back with a four-run third inning that included Mike Rosenberg's two-run single.

Curfman doubled twice for Chugiak, which also got two hits from both Sam Hanson, who scored three times, and Zachary Bohrer. Blake Kutch took the pitching win.

East 3, South 2

Laauli Tosi drove in the winning run in the eighth inning Monday, lifting East to a 3-2 Legion win over South.

Austin Dabbs scored on Tosi's hit, one of six tallied by East.

Scott Campos took the win, striking out 10 and allowing two hits.
