CIRI Alaska Tourism Wins a 2014 Hermes Creative Award

Anchorage, Alaska — CIRI Alaska Tourism Corporation earned a 2014 Gold Hermes Creative Award in the "Website Overall/Business to Consumer" category for its recent website redesign.

In preparation for the 2014 tourism season in Alaska, the company launched fully redesigned sites for Kenai Fjords Tours, Seward Windsong Lodge, Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge and Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge. The sites incorporate a fresh, responsive design allowing customers to plan their Alaska adventures by desktop, tablet or phone.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (amcpros.com). The association's membership consists of several thousand professionals in marketing, communication, advertising, public relations and freelance. For the past three decades, the Hermes Creative Awards competition has recognized creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media.

More than 5,500 entries were received for the 2014 Hermes Creative Awards competition. Winners were selected from 195 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono. While winners ranged from individual communicators to Fortune 50 companies, each entry was judged at random to recognize the creativity, talent and dedication of marketing and communication professionals.
