As someone who is retired military, I'm thrilled that Sgt. Bergdahl has been freed by his Taliban captors. What people forget is had he not gone AWOL in the first place, he never would have been captured in the second place. Let's be glad that he's safe. At the same time, let's look at all the facts before rushing to judgment on whether he's a hero or not.
