Bucs 1, Goldpanners 0

Hits were hard to come by in the first conference game of the season -- both teams combined for seven in the Bucs' 1-0 win over the visiting Goldpanners.

Garrett Copeland provided the game-winning hit with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to score Mac Gridley -- the only player with two hits.

Alex Godzak surrendered three hits and four walks through 62/3 innings to earn the win.

seals 5, oilers 2

The Seals plated three runs in the eighth inning to top the Oilers 5-2 in Kenai.

Nick Egli went 2 for 3 and score three times for the Seals, who got two RBIs from Joe Armstrong.

Jose Rose went 2 for 4 to lead the Oilers.
