Anchorage police seek missing woman

Anchorage police are asking for the public's help Wednesday locating 33-year-old Lena Allain.

Police said family members last saw Allain Saturday and believe she was near the Anchorage Correctional Complex Sunday morning, according to an email from Dani Myren, police spokeswoman.

"None of her friends, family or coworkers have seen or heard from her since," Myren wrote. "Due to the length of her absence, Allain's family grows increasingly concerned for her welfare."

Police described Allain as an Alaska Native woman, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Myren asked anyone with information about Allain's whereabouts to call police at 786-8900.
