I just witnessed a near miss with a fire truck (with red lights and siren going) turning east on Tudor Road at Micnnes. Why isn't there a emergency stop light there, so that fire trucks can make a safe left-hand turn, or any turn for that matter on to Tudor?
Tudor Road is one of the busiest roads in Anchorage.
We have one of those lights at Fire Station 3 in Airport Heights. I think Tudor Road deserves such a light. That is one huge danger for Anchorage drivers and the fire trucks. What's wrong with this city? I say if its not needed at Airport Heights, move the light to Tudor and Macinnes.
