Alaska Fighting Championship: "Land of the Midnight Sun 1"

The AFC season is ending with what's being called Anchorage's first outdoor mixed martial arts fights. Watch a 205-pound fight between Chris Johnson and Joe "Unleashed" Fonoti fight under the Chilkoot Charlie's windmill. Special guest appearance by Ultimate Fighting Championship legend and actor Randy "The Natural" Couture ("The Expendables") for a meet and greet and autograph signing. The fight will be followed by a performance by Elvis Monroe. Doors at 4 p.m. for a meet-and-greet with Couture. Anchorage Summer City Fair

Alaska Paddle Fun Day

Want to dip your toe into the sport of sea kayaking? There will be vendors at Goose Lake this weekend, with kayaks you can try out on the water for free. Father's Day Story Time

Join library staff in celebrating hardworking dads. This story time will feature the book "Mighty Dads" and includes activities and a Father's Day card-making craft. 11 a.m. Saturday, Barnes & Noble, 200 E. Northern Lights Blvd. Free.

Pride

Pride festival and parade

The public is invited to get colored up and costumed for this year's Equality March (Anchorage's "Pride Parade"). This is a non- motorized event, but bicycles, wheelbarrows and inventive ideas are encouraged. March will begin at Snow City Cafe and end at Delaney Park Strip, where this year's Pride Festival takes place, with more than 60 vendors, main stage entertainers and fun for the kids. March starts at 11 a.m., festival will be 12-5 p.m. All ages, free.
