bucs 8, monarchs 7

The Bucs battled back from a six-run deficit to defeat the visiting Monarchs 8-7.

Trailing 6-0, the Bucs made it a one-run game with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Mark Krueger plated two runs with a double followed by a three-run homer from Chane Lynch.

The Bucs completed the comeback with three runs in the seventh, two of which came on a home run from Tyler Ware.

All nine Bucs recorded hits.

miners 13, chinooks 2

Both Camerons in the Miners lineup had big games to lead Mat-Su to a 13-2 rout over the Chinooks in Chugiak.

Cameron Newell had three hits, including a home run, four RBIs and scored three times. Cameron Frost went 4 for 5, including a double and a triple, and scored twice.

Nicholas Covello and William Arendt had three hits apiece for Chugiak.

goldpanners 10, seals 3

Jacob Hayes was one of four Fairbanks players with multiple hits in the Goldpanners' 10-3 win over San Francisco.

Hayes went 3 for 3 with five RBIs and scored three runs.

Austin Van Blasingame had three hits and an RBI for the Seals.
