Recently Dan Sullivan began airing ads in which he characterized Sen. Begich as being a professional politician. In this way Mr. Sullivan attempts make an attribute of his own complete lack of experience in representative office. More than any representative in the history of Alaska, Sen. Begich has reached out to listen to Alaskans in public forums and to share his views on the issues and problems of the day. The payoff from this is that the problems with veterans services didn't happen in Alaska. Sen. Begich represents the people of Alaska in a professional manner. Whomever the Republicans chose to run against Sen. Begich, I hope it will be someone ready to act professionally.
