RIM Architects Adds Three to Design Staff

Nathan Hale, Eric Froelich and Jared Barak have joined RIM Architects as Design Assistants, providing comprehensive design team support on numerous projects.

Nathan Hale has twelve years of experience in architectural design and construction. Previously, he was a Project Manager for the U.S. Air Force in Anchorage and worked for design firms in Anchorage and Detroit. He is proficient in Revit and has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Detroit Mercy. He is actively pursuing architectural licensure in Alaska and is working on various RIM projects including the CIRI Office Tower in midtown Anchorage, Northrim Bank, and New Entry Gates at the Alaska State Fair.

Eric Froelich has Bachelor's Degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design from North Dakota State University, with a Minor in Interior Design. Prior to several years of work experience at Alaskan architecture firms, he gained certification as a Kitchen and Bath Designer for a firm in North Dakota. He also specialized in roof and floor truss designs for a structural component production firm in Minnesota. Eric is providing services for various RIM projects including the Fairbanks AK Department of Fish & Game Office Building Roof Replacement and the Ketchikan Readiness Center Roof Replacement, as part of RIM's Exterior Envelope & Roof Studio.

Jared Barak brings well-rounded experience working for architecture and engineering firms in Alaska and construction companies in Alaska and Oregon. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon, with a prior two years as a mechanical engineering major at another university. Jared earned LEED GA accreditation (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Green Associate) from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2014. He is involved in developing retail projects to support south Anchorage big-box retail stores, and assisted with the design of a new performance stage for the Palmer Fairgrounds.
