The Alaska Aces today announced their annual exhibition games at Sullivan Arena, where the new tricked-out scoreboard will also be unveiled in that October preseason series.
The ECHL champion Aces will play the expansion Indy Fuel on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 7-8. Both games are set for 7:15 p.m.
Once again, the series will serve as the club's "Paint the Rink Pink'' fund-raiser for the fight against breast cancer. This will mark the eighth straight season of that fund-raiser, which benefits two local groups.
The Aces in June seized their third Kelly Cup title in 11 ECHL seasons. They also won the Brabham Cup as regular-season champions for an unprecedented fourth straight season. No other ECHL club has won consecutive Brabhams in the 26-season history of the minor hockey league.
